This is perhaps the one of the most popular and trusted DIY solution that effectively breaks up the red color in the wine. The trick is to pour the solution on and let it sit for a little while and continue this step until the stain magically disappears. The only skill that is required here is patience.
Bicarbonate Soda & Vinegar
Sprinkle a little bicarbonate soda onto the stain and watch the stains slowly transform from red to pale grey. Once it has turned grey, lightly dap on the spot with a some vinegar and and voila!
Hot Water Through The Fabric
The last trick that most wine drinkers swear by would be to stretch the stained area over a bowl and pour boiling water right through it. Many have claimed to have watched the stains disappear right before their eyes! This technique is most effective on fabrics that are sturdy like a linen tablecloths
