It takes a village to raise a child, and we are here to help. Our part-time child care service provides parents with the convenience of arranging a babysitter for specific hours or days when needed, without the commitment of full-time child care. You can engage us on a once-off basis, for your date nights, or on a recurring basis, if you know you need an extra pair of hands at fixed times.

If you wish to, we can arrange a 3-way phone call between your care consultant, yourself, and your future babysitter before you come to a decision. It’s quite important to get to know who will be caring for your little one, after all!

We believe in building long-standing relationships between our sitters and the families they attend to. If you let us know that you will be requiring recurring babysitting services, we can make sure to match you with someone who would be available on a recurring basis, even if you’d like to initially try them out at first on a one-time session.

Yes, our babysitters are available during weekends and public holidays, providing you with flexibility and convenience any day. We understand that child care needs can arise at any time, and our aim is to be there for you when you need us.

At Helpling, we have a rigorous selection process to ensure that our babysitters are qualified and experienced professionals. They possess relevant certifications, diplomas, or degrees in early childhood education or related fields. Our providers undergo thorough background checks, and they receive training in child development, safety procedures, and first aid to ensure the well-being of your child.

We offer discounted rates to families that commit to at least 3 babysitting sessions with us on schedules that are either weekly or fortnightly at the minimum.

The minimum required time for booking a babysitter is 3 hours. You can choose any length of time beyond 3 hours, and we will match you based on your preference and availability of caregivers.

All changes with regard to your babysitting session with us need to be notified a minimum of 48 hours before-hand. If you wish to cancel your session with us, you need to give at least a two day notice.

If wish to continue your session, but wish to shorten the length of time you had originally booked, please also notify us a minimum of 48 hours before-hand.

Cancellations or changes to your booking less than 48 hours beforehand will incur a penalty equivalent to 50% of the value of the session, or hours shortened.

Example:
You booked a 3-hour sitter at $23 per hour, totalling $69 hours, but cancel the session the night before. You will incur a $34.5 penalty.

Example 2:
You booked an 8-hour sitter at $23 per hour, totalling $184, but wish to shorten your session by 3 hours (with less than 48 hour notice). You will incur 1.5 hours worth of charges for the shortening of the session (1.5 x $23 = $34.5)
